Simple and effective safety system

The Pontiac 3 carousel is equipped with special entry gates that play a key role in ensuring user safety. The gates must be closed before the carousel can start moving, and when rotation begins they lock automatically. This prevents them from being opened during the ride, effectively preventing accidental falls from the device – especially for wheelchair users. Once the carousel stops, the gates can be easily unlocked for safe exit.

Inside the carousel there is a drive disc that allows users to independently set the structure in motion or stop it, providing full control over the play.

The steel elements of the carousel have been anti-corrosion protected and powder coated, ensuring high durability, weather resistance and an aesthetic appearance throughout the long service life.

Safety on public playgrounds and compliance with standards

The equipment meets the safety requirements of PN-EN 1176-1:2017 and PN-EN 1176-5:2019, as confirmed by current certificates issued by the accredited certification body TÜV SÜD. The carousel is approved for use on public playgrounds.

Materials Used in Gold-Mark Production

At Gold-Mark, we rely on materials that ensure durability, safety, and long service life for equipment designed for intensive use in public spaces. As a playground equipment manufacturer, including inclusive solutions for people with disabilities, we design our products with reliability and minimal maintenance requirements in mind.

The primary structural material of our equipment is steel, which offers high resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Metal elements are precision-processed at our production facility using laser cutting, CNC, and tube bending technologies. After processing, the steel is anti-corrosion treated and powder coated, increasing resistance to moisture and UV radiation while enabling an aesthetic finish.

Gold-Mark equipment also incorporates resistant modern materials that improve comfort and safety:

Material selection at Gold-Mark is based on years of manufacturing experience and practical knowledge of playground equipment requirements. As a result, we offer durable, safe solutions adapted for long-term use, meeting the expectations of investors, municipalities, and most importantly, children.
