The construction of the Zonda XL swing is based on an enlarged, spacious platform that allows easy access for larger and heavier wheelchairs. A solid ramp with a locking handrail has been used, guaranteeing stable and secure enclosure of the user inside the swing. After entering the platform, it is recommended to immobilise the wheelchair using its brakes, which increases comfort and safety during use.
The Zonda XL swing allows the user to independently set the device in motion and stop it, thanks to ergonomically positioned drive ropes. An optional key lock is provided for device protection against unauthorised use, enabling access control.
The entire construction has been adapted for increased loads typical of electric wheelchairs and adult users. The steel elements have been anti-corrosion protected and powder coated, ensuring long-lasting durability and weather resistance.
The Zonda XL swing meets the requirements of EN 1176-1:2017/A1:2023 and EN 1176-2:2017/AC: 2019, as confirmed by certificates issued by the accredited certification body TÜV SÜD. This ensures the device can be safely used on public playgrounds and in spaces adapted for adults with limited mobility.
